The 5.7 was made out of and Oldsmobile 350 block. Different bell housing bolt pattern and starter bolt pattern. They don’t even make a 24 volt starter for the 5.7.

If the grid goes down gas will be gone in a week.. Then what are you going to do? Only safe reliable long term plan would have to be a natural gas vehicle and live on a farm or ranch with a natural gas well.
