    I use 000 steel wool all the time clean it with that then use a old sock apply rain x let it haze over coat it a 2nd time let it haze again and then wipe off with damp cloth does amazing job

    I’m a commercial window cleaner! I have claimed such buildings like the Columbia tower and such other buildings and the greater Seattle area. People have been using steel wool to clean windows for Generations!

    Did this everyday when I worked in a auto body shop. Easiest way to remove any overspray and works great for dried bugs too.

    We dont get rust spots. After everything is done we take it to a car wash. So the vehicles look good inside and out

    I’ve used steel wool in the past on glass to remove overspray n stuff. The combo of the wool and rain-X is doing it right for sure

    Makes sense, I use OOOO steel wool to polish the poly and resin finishes on wood furniture I make and it polishes it to a high gloss with no scratches

    Works great for water spots . Just make sure you vacuum up the the steel wool particles. If you don’t they will show up as rusty spots.

    Use it with Window cleaner not dry! And the only it will damage anything is if it is not glass. It will ruin the plastic side mirrors that are not glass.
