You've worked hard to prepare the things you have, taking care of your land and amassing food and stores with careful planning and focus.
When SHTF, though, all of that work is at risk. Sure, that time is what you have been preparing for, but it is also then that others will attempt to seize all that you've gained through hard work and perseverance.
An easy way to solve this problem is just to arm up, right? Well that's all well and good, but nobody can keep a constant watch on every inch of their borders 24 hours a day.
Eventually, you will get tired and need to catch some shuteye. Even if you trade shifts with others in your survival party, it's in your best interest to have another way to monitor the perimeter.
That's where a tripwire comes into play. Just to be sure you hear it, let's make it an explosive tripwire. Check out the instructive video on the next page.

Just what you need , a lawsuit just waiting to happen

ITS a good concept , except, it you put them out , and it rains, it wont work , even with a heavy dew it wont work,

This will work! He will have to leave the house when it catches on fire.
That’s a bad idea
A “Negrito Trigger” is simpler and more reliable.
Gotta camouflage this little stinker too!
Illegal in many states.

pretty primitive, think hard and you can come up with more foolproof system. Go into you kitchen and garage and look around.. use your imagination and you would be surprised what you come up with.
danger to children, pets and morons
also- MAY BE DANGEROUS, MAY CAUSE FIRES, use only in sealed concrete bunkers.

You shouldn’t worry. This is harmless, most jihadis know how to build ied’s out of common household materials, some silly little trip wire is nothing.
That just swell, burn down the place with your family inside it. Well done!
Okay so when is the “bigger version” video being posted?

You aren’t at all. Love these articles. Gives me a different perspective on stuff I already think about.
Would work for lighting a fuse also . Place fuse threw the match heads.
Shot gun shells a roofing tack nail and a rock
What if it rains?
Only if it’s not raining shotgun shell. An mouse trap is better
C4?..
Laser sensors and sniper rifle.
Much better a crocodile or a lion.
Pit it inside a container.

What if it gets wet
that’s good for when we have tons of land
Kayla Ketcham
We need to do this when we go camping. Always feel like we’re going to be murdered.
decent idea and a good place to start i would say but if the matches or striker gets wet your fucked. I would say the whole rig needs to be dipped in wax first or maybe use waterproof matches and striker instead. Or you could search for another alarm i seen like this using a .22 rifle shell without the bullet in it and a simple mouse trap. Would run u about 4-5 dollars per and u can even find .22 shells at the hardware store that r used to put lag bolts into concrete so they dont have an actual projectile in them. or u can do the same with a shotgun shell without the shot in it.

Better to use an elastic band, variable tension when pulled.

Good way to start a forest fire……
Use waterproof matches and striker but I am so bored and M 80 with the fuse going between the matches
