(Video) How to Construct an Explosive Tripwire Alarm

flashbang tripwire

Can you keep your guard up at all hours of the day? Probably not. That's why you need to set a few of these babies around your property to guard for you.

There isn't much doubt that you'll have no problem hearing this alarm go off when a predator, man or beast, happens by the drawstring. It will be especially noticeable in the dead of night; any hope your intruder had of sneaking up on you will be long gone.

Chances are, it will even do the job of scaring away the intruder for you; face it, if you were trying to sneak up on someone and accidently set off an explosion, wouldn't you turn your tail and run? Especially if the tripwire set was the BIG one. Not something I want anywhere near me when it detonates.

This is an excellent video tutorial and demonstration.

I think putting them inside a spent shotgun shell could be better water proofing.

I feel like if this is triggered in the wrong season, poorly placed, or poorly maintained it could burn down the woods you’ve bugged out to.

You can rig a much smaller devise out of a “party popper” . Pull out the little ignighter, put in a small tube with some black powder, seal with wax, and you’ve got a real excellent little boobytrap.

Unless its raining, or humid, but hey, everybody knows bad guys don’t come out in the rain.
