In regards to a traditional war, there’s currently no draft, so those enlisting in the military, conservative and liberal, are volunteering to go to war, regardless if there’s a Republican or Democrat is on office. I live in the rural mid west and most local farms are family owned and of the 14 industrial jobs close by 0 have a union. Depends on location I guess.
