Wildlife Uses:

7. Termite detection – detect areas of potential termite activity in buildings.

8. Hunting – similar to military applications, thermal imaging can also be used for hunting (infrared camera rifle scopes, monoculars, etc).

9. Unwanted pests – find out exactly where possums, rats or other animals are camping out in a roof space (without having to crawl through the roof).

Using a thermal imaging device for termite detection is vital when you're trying to maintain a homestead, especially after post-collapse. And who knew it could be helpful for hunting — this is such a useful way to utilize this tool!

On the next slide learn about 3 more uses for the FLIR Scout TK.

These uses have to do with healthcare and whether you're getting ready for SHTF now or need this device for later — how you can utilize this monocular is simply astounding.

I wouldn’t mind having one of those. Even at 100m, it would still be handy.

For the people saying $600 bucks isn’t cheap. Rewind just a short 9 years ago and these things were the size of a cinder block with shitty resolution selling for around 10k. Yeah $600 is still expensive for the average consumer such as myself but compared to what they were that’s way more affordable. Hell last time I was at a gun show I seen a thermo selling for 70 bucks and it could attach to your iPhone.
