11) Makeshift Door Stop:

Jam under a door or gate. It will expand and help hold the door or gate open.

12) Kiddie Pool Drain:

To drain your kids’ pool and water the garden at the same time, use a length of old hose to siphon and control the flow of water.

A makshift door stop is clever because when you're dealing with a gate at your cabin and you need to prop it open, a hose door stop is easy to rig up.
