We live in a society where the norm is to discard items that no longer seem useful to us.

When objects have fulfilled their purpose, we often end up tossing them in the trash without a second thought. But the good news is that this isn’t always necessary. Sometimes, with a little creativity and resourcefulness, we can repurpose our old materials and give them an entirely new function.

Think of your garden hose. Yes, your garden hose. It might be reaching the end of its lifespan – losing its structure, wearing down and tearing, leaking water – but that doesn’t mean you have to toss it!
