12 Life Saving Items to Keep in a Truck

truck supplies

latex gloves

Latex Gloves

Include a few extra pairs of non-latex gloves with your first-aid kit.

stainless steel water bottle

Stainless Steel Bottle

A 32-ounce stainless-steel bottle, which nestles inside a bat-wing cup with a perforated lid for straining out coffee grounds and sassafras tea leaves

Water Filtration System

A 2 Liter Water Filtration System filters more than 1⁄2 gallon of water in one and a half minutes—leaving you more time to build a smoke generator for rescue.

It makes sense having a water filtration system, especially if you run out of water. You're going to need a way to make sure your water is pure. A bottle to drink out of and gloves to put in your first-aid kit are also good ideas.

The last couple of supplies to pack in the back of your truck may not be critical, but they sure can be helpful, especially during SHTF. Actually, I take that back. One item in particular can definitely be life saving if you need to stay warm in the middle of winter.

The last item I hadn't even though of but now I'm going to put it in my truck right away!
