Just about everyone has seen those television shows and movies wherein a post-collapse world, the living will have to defend themselves against zombies.
Apart from zombies not existing, the reality of what can kill you in a post-collapse world will be much more mundane – and much more deadly.
In fact, fighting off the “undead” would certainly be more entertaining and in all likelihood, give you a greater chance of survival.
Even those totally isolated from the deadly reality of a post-collapse world will run a high risk of exposure anytime they venture beyond the protective cloak of their isolation.
Many diseases and disease carriers that the modern world has dealt with, like dead bodies and basic sanitation, for example, will once again become potentially deadly.

If zombies don’t exist then why does the military have a zombie plan?!?!?
No one ever talks about how nasty the smell would be. All that Mobile rotting, breathing, eating, defecating bags of rotten meat. The winds have got to smell of complete atrocities.
