You’re Stuck in a Fast River Current. Here’s How to Survive It.

As a survivalist, a wilderness walker and camper, you more than likely will find yourself near lakes or rivers. While they may seem harmless and often quite beautiful from the outset, a survivalist and prepper should never forget that water is a force to be reckoned with! In other words, danger lurks in rushing water!

We don’t say this to make a camper afraid that according to the CDC, drowning is the fifth leading cause of unintentional injury and death in the U.S.!

Remember, while a river may look calm on the surface it can have a fast under current! Then you add boulders, logs and other debris and injury becomes likely.
