In a volcano disaster, like the island volcano of the shore of Anchorage Alaska back in the 60’s. The real disaster of it was that it ejected pumice bombs, and any car that drove the highways would inhale micro shards of glass that would scour and scratch the cylinder heads, leading to short lived cars.

Why don’t we just all be lazy, and just replace the Windows when they are dirty? The amount of people who come into the shop just for a tire repair is concerning.

Yeah I always heard while growing up, that the old timers used to tie two cats together, pour turpentine on their asses and throw them over a clothesline. Not sure if there is any kind of truth to that but I always heard it lol.

Chris right. Did it and fuckedy windshield. Oh yea it looks slick and very clean but when it rains the windshield lost its coating and doesn’t wipe clear anymore. Even buffed it with rainx amd it worked for about 3 storms. Now i have to constantly use rainx to have a clear windshield!

Brian Betts sorry mang! I guess it can also be noted some car windshields have an anti-laceration coating on the interior side. It can effect radar detectors and too should be cleaned per manufacturers recommendations ( Porsche comes to mind here)

I use a SOS pad to clean chrome on my old car. Also use to polish my old chrome frame Mongoose BMX when I was a teenager. Works really good.

To remove bugs use hydrogen peroxide. I use it on my bikes all the time. Melts the bugs away.

We use it in the shop to find the break in rear window defrosters. Slowly move the steel wool over the grid and when you hit the broken part the steel wool will ignite.

If you use 000 it does not scratch. I’m a window tinter and I use it every time I strip and retint a car. I’ve done it on hundreds of cars and it has never damaged the glass
