Someone once said the best ideas are the simplest and in this case, that is certainly true.
In fact, it is so easy, you probably have all the components you need to make this all in one light, heater and stove in your house right now!
Alcohol is a very inexpensive but effective flammable liquid and toilet paper is about as cheap a wick as you could come up with.
In a survival situation, or SHTF moment, this could give you light, heat you or cook your food!

I have use this to warm my hand in the hunting blind however you do not want to use this in an enclosed area. It will burn your eyes and choke you out.
I’d add a cage type metal cylinder that attaches around the top with a squeeze release to protect anyone from trying to touch the fire. And an easy carry strap or something.
