Warm Up Your Home with Homemade Metal Can Air Heaters? This DIY Project is Incredible!

metal can air heater

This survival hack is so easy; almost anyone could do it!

All you need is a metal can (soup, paint, something in the middle), a roll of toilet paper and rubbing alcohol (70%) and you have all you need to make your own light, heater, stove – or all in one!

In a survival situation, this could be emergency lighting, or if you need heat, the amount of heat even a small can puts out is incredible.

Use a smaller can surrounded by slightly larger cans and you have a camp stove that can heat up just about anything enough to give you the ability to make a hot meal.

While you have to replenish the alcohol, a single filling will last for hours, and if you keep it filled, the toilet paper acts as a wick and can be used over and over again.

I have use this to warm my hand in the hunting blind however you do not want to use this in an enclosed area. It will burn your eyes and choke you out.

I’d add a cage type metal cylinder that attaches around the top with a squeeze release to protect anyone from trying to touch the fire. And an easy carry strap or something.
