(VIDEO) You’ve Run Out of Water Post-Collapse. Here’s What You Need to Do to Find Water ASAP.

finding water

Water is all around us, even when it's not collecting in pools or streams. The trick to survival if you run out of water or are unsuccessful in locating any discernable source of it is to trick your environment into providing it to you. Check out the video below to see what we mean.

While very few of these tricks worked for the guy in the video, it's important to note that these are all tried and true methods of obtaining a pretty sustainable supply of water.

The still solar principle is itself a highly-effective method which, when performed properly, yields enough water to supply you with your minimum needs if you use minimal energy and stay in the shade.

Make sure to bag several bundles of branches that are facing the sun and for your solar still pit you need it to be about 4 feet across and 3 feet deep for maximum effectiveness. The one in the video was likely not getting warm enough to condensate due to not enough surface area exposed to the sun.

Also, never forget the trick with the cloth and the dewy grass, as it is easily the most effective and least time-consuming method.
