WARNING: As with any project that involves projectiles and sharp tools / objects please use caution and ensure all involved wear appropriate eye protection. Remember, even an awesome crossbow loses its luster if it has to be viewed with only one eye!

This is a project that in a survival situation could come in handy with very small game, should your situation become dire enough, but more than likely serves an instructional role in how the dynamics of a crossbow works and gives insight into bow and arrow technology.

Understanding how various technologies work is paramount if you find yourself faced with a survival scenario where making your own weapon is necessary for food and protection.

Essentially, that is what this fun and amazing project accomplishes: It teaches you the technology behind crossbows in a fun and effective manner.
