While many survivalists these days are turning to the cheap Bic lighters to fill their survival kits, there are many others who are die hard purists and prefer the old-fashioned Zippo-style lighter.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with either side; they both have their pros and cons, and it's really a matter of personal preference.

One feature of the Zippo-style lighter, though, is the fact that you can refill it with fuel over and over again, a feature not found on the cheap dollar lighters.

However, a charge of fuel usually doesn't last as long, either, and before long you'll be refilling your Zippo with more lighter fluid.
