They may be going off the grid but there is no reason why a family cannot have at least some of the luxuries that man has learned to enjoy! Taking a warm shower, maintaining solar panels, and revving those generators for electrical tools has never been so earth friendly!

Personally, we look forward to the day when they build their own movie theater!

In other words, a survivalist, prepper, and homesteader may live like a rustic but that does not mean he or she has to live like a savage! The juxtaposing of showing a rural setting with modern day technology takes living off the grid into the twentieth century!
