Being told and actually seeing an off-grid lifestyle are two totally different things.

While the life of a family existing with the aid of solar panels and maybe a couple of generators, to keep their power tools and lights going sounds like a plan, until you have seen it in action, you may not grasp exactly how the whole thing works.

Then again, seeing how it all works is also not the same thing as living the lifestyle. That is why if you ever get the opportunity to take part in and maybe live a while in an off-grid house, working the land, and hunting, before you take that giant step – do it!
