(VIDEO) This Throwing Spear is Something Every Survivalist Needs to Learn How to Make…

throwing spear

When your gun jams and your arrows break, what sort of weapon are you going to turn to in order to keep yourself safe when SHTF? For many preppers, an obvious choice is the spear. Learn how to make your own right now in the video below.

As it turns out, all it takes to make a decent quality spear is a small torch, a shovel, a strong dowel for the shaft, and a toaster oven. Of course, to heat it properly, you'll also need the magnet in order to make sure you're heating past its magnetic point.

What makes this build extremely useful is that you can still do it after SHTF. By using these tricks and whatever you happen to have in your shed, you'll be able to have a strong spear worthy of Leonidas.

I have built a home made spear it was Built from a Broken Brick layers trowl using the Trowl blade. it is fitted to a 7 1/2 foot heavy Dowl.Rod. it can be thrown or used as a Thrusting spear. Why there is a Piece of Fur wrapped on the Shaft below the Head? is because that is to act as a stopper after the spear is thrown… It was added after the spear had been used on a hunt. The Spear actually passed right through the feral goat I was hunting at the Time… this Pic is a top/ front view of the spear head.

A good strong spear like the one shown above should be part of any survivalists kit….In fact, every one in your group must have one.
