(VIDEO) This Throwing Spear is Something Every Survivalist Needs to Learn How to Make…

throwing spear

Few weapons have withstood the test of time so well as the spear. In the hands of our most primitive ancestors, they were used to hunt for food and defend their lands.

In the hands of the Spartans, they were used, with success, to fight off millions of Persians in the war of Thermopylae.

All the way until the age of gunpowder, the spear was one of the most powerful weapons anyone could get their hands on.

Their power comes from the ability to maintain distance from your enemies. What's more, they can be thrown to close the gap between you and your target.

These days, it's not very easy to get your hands on a high-quality spear. Sure, there are some companies that still maintain the ancient art of spear crafting, but why pay professional prices when you can make one that's just as successful in your garage?

Learn how to make a spear that you will need when SHTF by checking out the video on the next page.

I have built a home made spear it was Built from a Broken Brick layers trowl using the Trowl blade. it is fitted to a 7 1/2 foot heavy Dowl.Rod. it can be thrown or used as a Thrusting spear. Why there is a Piece of Fur wrapped on the Shaft below the Head? is because that is to act as a stopper after the spear is thrown… It was added after the spear had been used on a hunt. The Spear actually passed right through the feral goat I was hunting at the Time… this Pic is a top/ front view of the spear head.
