If you fantasize frequently about what it would be like to live in the woods for a year (I know some of you do), then you're gonna like this guy. Sure, he isn't out there for a year. In fact, it's only a day in this video. However, he does touch on an excellent point during the video: You aren't out there to ‘live off the land,' instead, you should be out there to ‘live with the land.' If you adopt that philosophy, things will likely go much more smoothly for you as you'll be able to go with the flow just like all of the animals out there.

Another helpful tip is to always have food on you. This guy went out planning to hunt and to trap his food, yet he still had ramen noodles to eat if things didn't go according to plan. Having backup plans like that is the key to survival, and it's excellent that he adopted that method into his experiment.
