To be perfectly honest with you, we are not the biggest fans of spiders. They are unpredictable, creepy, and enigmatic. They end up in sleeping bags and bug-out bags, and are generally, for us, a scary nuisance. Having said that, we are also not fans of big, black water bugs either but that is another story!
However, we do have somewhat of a fascination with spider history. There are ancient arachnids out there, with blood-lines back to the stone age!
