Slab City is somewhere in the outskirts of Southern California, a desert community, and at first glance, it is an off the grid happy place. While they live with no power or running water, it is an inexpensive and freeing lifestyle.
It is also the only chance for some folks who are in a financial bind. Most families are there trying to get back on their feet before returning to their “normal” life. Slab City buys them time and, simply put, that is what most are asking for.
However, a city like this does attract a varying and dangerous crowd so living in Slab City, as freeing as it is, is not for the faint of heart. You need to watch your back against the bad element but also embrace the good of the community.
After the break, learn more about Slab City and why survivalists love it on this intriguing video!

Most of the furniture you see is clean cuz of the burning hot sun but the ones not in the sun ….oh boy…..sit on one if you want an ifectio on your back a weird bacteria that takes the pigment from your skin…but all in all if you dont look at it under a micro glass of conformity. you’
