Now we know what the five (5) Cs are:

1) Cover
2) Cutting Tool
3) Container
4) Combustion Device
and finally,

5) Cordage!

These are great survival tools and something that should always be to the back of a survivalist, hiker or even a casual weekend warrior’s mind as they prepare for an outing.

Keep these items with you and, even during a truly bad situation, like the hiker who fell into the crevice that Lilly mentioned, you just may be able to survive!
