(Video) Putting Together a Basic Snare Trap With Paracord or Wire for Survival

paracord snare

Hunting is not all guns, knives, and spears! When you need a good trap just reach for your paracord and/or wire. A succulent squirrel or rabbit is just waiting for you!

Personally, we would have loved to see the paracord in action but we realize how YouTube(c) and other media might need to be careful with what is shown. However, the snares displayed really are attention-grabbing and while a squirrel by itself may not make for a wholly satisfying meal if you have a few snares set up you just might find yourself not just satisfied but full!

So, hang onto that paracord! In the wilderness, in a SHTF scenario, it might help you catch your next meal!

You mean like a rabbit or squirrel that has little to no nutritional value per your post yesterday ? ?

Andrew Meissner. Rabbit and squirrel have a very high amount of nutrition. The problem is our bodies need fats to absorb a lot of nutrients. Rabbit and squirrel are so lean you have to add fat to their meat to gain anything.
You can simply fry the meat in lard.
    Look up “rabbit starvation.”
