Last year, while on his way to a prime fishing spot, a man came upon a sight that was at once fascinating and horrifying. A bear had somehow run a cow out of the wilderness and was attacking it, obviously for food.
Why the cow was in the woods in the first place is one question. Perhaps there was a nearby farm? But how the bear followed him then attacked offers us another series of questions. Obviously, the bear was hungry and this is “the circle of life” we are often told about.
Yet, how often does a bear come across a cow in the woods? Sounds like the beginning of a bad joke but it is an odd and intriguing sight.
If you would like to witness it, as did this fisherman with a camera, take a look on page two at nature at its most brutal.

I also enjoy eating cows.
If it wasn’t your cow, let the bear eat. Is it even justifiable for you guys to shoot a bear that’s attacking a farm animal that’s not yours?
