(Video) Learn how to Defrost a Windshield in Seconds Without Running Hot Water on it or Scraping the Snow Off!

windshield

There seem to be only so many things you can do to clear off that windshield. But some are far more effective than others. If you do not want to cause a potential crack or scratch watch below!

The above, of course, is especially good if you have only a car port or need to park the car out in the open during the winter months.

We all dread getting up any earlier than we have to but it’s nice to know the defrosting method does not take long and, with the right scrapper, you will be on your way in no time!

Click bait… Nothing in this video tells you how to deice your windshield in “seconds”, or without using a scraper. In fact it tells you to RUN YOUR DEFROSTER FOR 5-10 MINUTES, or USE A SCRAPER. more like HALFtruth and INaction…

You may get by with putting cold water on it but if you use hot water you will replace your windshield…

5 minutes won’t do most of the time. Maybe if it’s just snow.

If you pour water on your windshield you want to make sure it’s cool cause if it’s too hot and you pour it onto a really cold window it can shatter

Right, there’s no faster way to create ice than by using hot water. It freezes faster than cold water.
