[VIDEO] Learn How Dandelions Can Be A Great Survival Food

Survivor Lily knows her stuff and loves to share. She is straight to the point, tells you the pros and cons of any endeavor. Now watch as she espouses the virtues of eatable dandelions!

If we ever do find ourselves in a situation where we must live off the land, in the wilderness, then it’s always good to know what you can and cannot eat should supplies run short.

We were mesmerized while watching Lily make dandelion root coffee. When she was done it did not look half bad and she seemed to enjoy it. Let’s face it, coffee when the grid goes down – no matter where it comes from – is a joy!

The video was a good one to watch….there was only one flaw though, she poured her soaking root water out and she should have saved it and boiled her coffee in that because the water had the majority of the oils from the root that had the healing property in it therefore getting 2 benefits instead of just the coffee. Granted the roots contained some of the benefits after soaking but not like it would have if she had used the soaking water.
