One of the many aspects to consider when roughing it in the wild is the problem of shelter. For bushcrafters, shelter often comes in the form of an A-frame or lean-to utilizing a tarp or branches.

For preppers, shelter can take the form of a bug out cabin, bunker, or, in the process of getting to their bug out location, a simple tarp overhead. But for those who specialize in traditional skills, a shelter is a different animal, entirely.
