The recent housing and lending crisis facing Americans looking for a place to live forced people to downsize, redo expectations and improvise.

This couple not only drastically cut down on the overall cost of a home, they did so in an awesomely innovate way – transforming and old school bus into a mobile home!

Admittedly, if you have a lot of stuff or like a lot of living space, this might not be for you.

But as an emergency, mobile, survival shelter, it would be hard to beat or in an economic crisis where downsizing was not only preferable but necessary, it might be the way to go!
