[VIDEO] How To Use Pine Trees For Survival Food

The adage “any port in a storm” applies to food in a survival or SHTF moment. Following the concept of threes, food, obviously, is critical to survival; without it, depending on where you are and your activity level, you can last about three weeks without food.

But when you find yourself in a SHTF moment, you may not have access to food and that means you have to scramble and scavenge for any food you can find.

One great source of multiple types of food are pine trees.

Various parts of the pine tree can be used as straight off the tree food, can be dried and eaten later and even can be made into tea. Each type of food provides nutrients, calories and anti-oxidants, all of which you need to remain healthy long-term.

The video on the next page will show you how to use pine trees as a variety food source in a SHTF situation.

Last year Christina and I got hooked on pine needle tea in last year up north. Very tasty with honey and has a lot of vitamin c! I would like to try to make bread from the cambium layer. You can also use aspen trees.
