[VIDEO] How To Store Fuel For An Emergency

In a survival situation, particularly with a gasoline generator, having stable fuel is a must.

While most gasoline is good for a few months, longer-term storage presents a challenge.

This video shows you how to stabilize your fuel for up to two years.

There are multiple survival situations – blizzards, hurricanes, tornadoes, earthquakes, etc. that can knock out power for extended lengths of time.

When that happens, getting access to gasoline to power generators can become a challenge.

If it legal, you should have some gasoline storage on hand, but if you do not store it properly, your investment will literally be worthless right when you need it.

Some storage cans need to be metal cans not plastic. As plastic melts in a fire

I have a Honda van that sat on my driveway for 3 years with a bad transmission. It had a full tank of regular unleaded gas with no additive when it died. It sat through cold Indiana winters and hot summers. A couple weeks ago I had the transmission rebuilt. I was sure I would have to have the tank flushed. To my utter surprise, it runs like new..
