Takes some prep and a little muscle but, all in all, this system is the easiest and most effective way to contain and enjoy fresh water. Remember, just because it looks good does not mean it is good. Check this out:

When we were a child we saw one of those documentaries at school about living in the mountains and how important a good water source was. The “cowboy” then began to sing about “cool clear water” and that song, all on its own, made us want to run to the nearest drinking fountain!

We weren’t worried about it then but, despite how delicious that river water looked that the singer was extolling the virtues of, it could have been teaming with all sorts of dangerous microbes! Someone now needs to write a song about Berkey water filtration as a follow-up!
