(VIDEO) How to Put Together an Ideal and Fully Stocked Car Kit for an Emergency

You have maybe a 50/50 chance of being at home when SHTF. If you aren't, the last thing you want to do is have to go home to get your bug out bag before hitting the road.

Follow the video below and construct a top-notch bug out bag that you can keep in your car at all times.

Having one of these bags ready in your vehicle can be a huge bonus, not only in SHTF situations, but also just for general supplies. If you always have one in your car, forgetting supplies when you go camping is not going to be as big of a problem, plus you'll always have tools on you, should you need them for general purpose use.

Make sure you pick out a comfortable backpack, though; just because it's for keeping in the car doesn't mean you won't have to hoof it once in awhile.

This is an excellent advise video for those of us looking to be prepared at all times.

You get arrested for carting around what you need so remember a locked case isn’t searchable without a warrant.

I used to spend the summers with my grandparents in NM and it was a given that every car had a cpl jugs of water, blankets, flares, jerky, some canned goods etc… In the trunk. They weren’t peppers that’s just how you roll when you live in the desert.

Whoever did the text really screwed up several times. I might understand if it was real time closed caption but this not. Should have had a written script to type from.
