You're using the bare minimum to survive during a bug out. Hopefully, you are in your safe location, and you've obtained all of the appropriate supplies that you need to last the bug out. And that's probably not going to include modern conveniences like, you know. A washing machine.

Your clothes are going to get dirty. And smelly. And even if you're on your own with no one to smell you, it's important to make sure that you're taking care of yourself.

It can be difficult to member what life was like before the beautiful invention of the washing machine, but your experience will remind you of a simpler time.

You just need a water supply – hopefully, a sink – and some form of laundry detergent, whether in powder or liquid form.

Had to do this during a power outage 7 or 8 days long in the summer a few years ago. Stood in the shower and wash the clothes i was wearing and all. The heat was awful. Was around the 4th of July .
