There is not a red blooded survivalist or homesteader out there that does not want the biggest, baddest tractor “on the lot,” but often that is more equipment than you need.

If you have a moderate amount of livestock, a smaller tractor and baling equipment will do and will not require what amounts to the purchase of a second vehicle!

Obviously, if you have a large herd of cattle or a giant lot of hay to mow and bale, a smaller outfit will not suffice.

But if you are only raising livestock for your personal consumption and use, a smaller tractor and hay baling equipment saves money and is much easier and safer to utilize.
