If you've ever gone camping in particularly wet or cold circumstances, then chances are you've occasionally run into the issue of finding enough firewood to accomplish the necessary tasks to get through your day, such as making coffee and frying up some eggs.

Of course, to get around this common problem, most people recommend carrying a gas stove for doing your cooking and simply getting a decent fire going whenever you can find enough wood.

The problem, of course, is that gas stoves are often a great deal of excess weight that you simply don't need to be carrying. Even the lightest stoves will still require that you have to lug around fuel for the duration of your trip. On top of that, they are often expensive and require a bit of upkeep to keep functioning well.

A rocket stove, on the other hand, will utilize traditional fire fuel, that is, wood. What makes it great is that it only requires a small amount to crank out the heat really.
