Think you have your shelter issue worked out? Take a gander at this! For your viewing pleasure, we bring you “the two-minute tent” and how you can use it for an evening of cold and drizzly camping.

The first thing we thought of when he talked about using tripod legs through the grommets was how we just Craigslisted© a tripod that we had no further use for! As they say, you snooze you lose but it might be a good idea to check out local yard sales to see if one of those babies is sitting out for a couple bucks!

In all, this is a simple but truly useful idea. We see sticking a sleeping bag in the tent for further protection, particularly if a fire is not feasible. For a two minute tent, this is awesome!

In a heavy wind blowing rain I’d still rather have a good tent with rain fly.
