We recently came back from a flight to New Jersey and, not being the best flyer in the world, every manner of potential crash-landing came into our mind as we flew. Nothing happened, of course, because it seldom does.

Flying, they say, is one of the best and safest ways to travel! That may be true but airplanes still feel like narrow, long, death boxes, merely sailing through the sky, to us and we avoid flying as much as possible!

Yet, having said this, we have to admire those pilots that keep their cool during potentially hazardous situations. The ones with experience, knowing they are in trouble and have to suddenly land the plane, with all of their passengers, and still manage to do it well. This is the epitome of working “through the pressure!” Some are successful and, sadly, others are not.
