(Video) Here’s What a Prepper Should Never Wear After SHTF. He’ll Never Stand a Chance if He Wears This.

what to wear during a collapse

You're watching a new eppy on What Not to Wear survival edition and this time it's focused on a prepper's clothing.

The prepper who is being judged is far from passing the test because he made a big mistake by not wearing the proper clothing.

If you were the survivalist on the show, would you pass the test?

It's likely that when the grid goes down, preppers will be thrown back into the Stone Age. Even though it's likely that most preppers will disappear into the woods where they'll spend most of their time in their bug out shelter, eventually they will have to leave. Why is that? They'll need to get more food, trade, and perform other tasks.

When a prepper ventures out into the woods when things have settled down a bit after SHTF, it's likely he will come across threatening people. During that time the last thing a survivalist needs is to wear clothing that'll make him stand out. Camouflaged clothing is best so he can remain stealth.

What a prepper should never wear is full tactical gear such as camo pants, a shirt, and a ton of weapons.

If he goes out like this, he's looking to get shot.

After the break discover what clothing a prepper should be wearing post-collapse as opposed to full blown tactical gear. It's best to wear clothing like this to stay safe from potentially being seriously hurt!

Blacks/grays if in an urban environment and earth tones (green/brown/tan) if in a rural environment.

Mao Zedong’s comment about guerrillas is also relevant to preppers. ” The guerrilla must move amongst the people as a fish swims in the sea.”

The best thing to look like would be a homeless street bum. Do not display anything expensive. Wear a bit of street dirt. Keep your head down a bit. Street bums are invisible.

Nicknamed the Greys. Can blend in to anywhere without a second look

In my area even in the summer camo is still fairly prevalent. You blend in with the surrounding population. My suggestion for blending in just about anywhere is a pair of boots jeans and a generic hoodie. I say boots because even cheap hiking boots are better than tennis shoes and a hoodie is great for hiding weapons and tools and fairly common everywhere

Living in a rural area where travel through the outdoors & wilderness areas. I keep camo ,h neutral colors in my bug out gear. In the winter I also keep white gear for snow. The neutrals work well in urban areas as well. This keeps me prepared should I find myself in either environment

Articles such as this allow the public to blow their opsec openly so any alphabet agency reading is able to take notes easier.

Rule #1 never divulge your opsec.

Y’all know the adage give me liberty or give me death? Quit being afraid of death, it’s gonna fuckin happen to all us eventually. I’m not saying go out being careless looking for people to engage in a firefight with. But why not be prepared? It’s like carrying a gun… Better to have and not need, than to need and not have. And if you get shot at, that plate might at least make you feel a smidge better about the overwhelming suck factor…
