The most powerful tool in the known universe is the human mind. Using our superior adaptability and creativity, we have been able to climb to the top of the food chain without the use of fangs, claws, speed, or strength.

Their most basic resource were the stones around them, with which they accomplished things which would be considered impossible to many people today.
