From time to time we all get injured. That's just a fact of life. We can never really plan when and where this will happen, or whether or not we'll have access to a clinic when these injuries do happen, so knowing how to fix yourself up will certainly be a boon to your survival game.

Now, a lot of survivalists will go into detail about how to stitch yourself up when you're in a jam, but from a professional point of view, it's really not advisable unless your injury is life-threatening.

There's just so much room for infection and error that you really shouldn't make any attempt to give yourself stitches if you don't have to.
