Ideally, in a SHTF moment or survival situation, you will have you fishing gear, at least emergency fishing kit handy.

If not, however, you will have to use primitive methods of catching fish, but the good news is there are many effective primitive ways of catching them.

Catching fish in a survival situation is usually a low energy, high reward way of getting the protein, vitamins and minerals  you need.

If you do not have your gear, however, catching fish can be a challenge; by using common sense and primitive methods, you can catch as many fish as you need to survive.
