When you’re fighting the elements, it can be difficult to decide which shelter is the best option for construction.
After evaluating all your options based on the tools you have readily available, the resources at your disposal, the current weather conditions, and your skill level, you will hopefully determine the best course of action.
Sometimes, it’s best to go back to the basics. And by basics, I mean back to the Stone Age. In extreme cold, building a Stone Age hut can be the perfect solution to keep you warm.
This hut is the perfect structure for a winter in the woods. It can even double as a sweat lodge to really warm you up!
Check it on the video on the next page to learn how to build a stone age hut!

Good idea. But do it in thick brush…this like it is would stick out .and be found easy
Staying mobile will be key when shtf
Better have a lot of paracord.
Damn batteries!
I’ve found stuff like this to be a bit easier. This is clearly a bit more built up, but you get the idea.
Instead of cordage, use wire. An inner lining made from a tarp would also increase warmth and help keep rain out.
