(Video) Building a Stone Age Hut to Use as a SHTF Shelter Will Keep a Prepper Safe From the Elements!

stone age hut shelter

Survival Lilly shows us how to construct a Stone Age shelter! When the weather gets cool and it starts raining non-stop, you will need a shelter that will keep you safe and dry. That's where a shelter like a stone age hut comes into place. Take a look!

Awesome! Have you ever attempted to construct a similar structure? When the elements are overtaking you and you need a semi-permanent or permanent shelter, a structure like this can keep you safe, especially during a SHTF situation. If you've created a shelter like this how did it go? Share with us in the comments section!

These shelters are hard to build. I had to build several before I really got the hang of it. So, practice, practice, practice. 🙂

Good idea. But do it in thick brush…this like it is would stick out .and be found easy

I’ve found stuff like this to be a bit easier. This is clearly a bit more built up, but you get the idea.

Instead of cordage, use wire. An inner lining made from a tarp would also increase warmth and help keep rain out.
