If you take anything away from the following article it is to never underestimate the intelligence of wildlife!

Although we have never gone through one of those wildlife drive throughs, the ones where you stay in the car but, driving slowly, you can see animals, anything from wild cats, moose, to bears close-up.

While it’s not quite the same thing as seeing the critters in nature because they are well taken care of in the preserve, they are still wild animals and one should never under estimate their potential to wound, hurt, or even kill!

This is why the video over on the next page, although oddly humorous, is also a scary wake-up call for any family who wants to be close to wildlife but forgets to take the proper precautions! The bear appears merely friendly but if he felt threatened the door opening you see could have been tragic!

Go over and take a look, fellow survivors, and you might want to consider how you might react if you have a close-up bear encounter!
