Obviously, he has much more work to do but the following will give you a good idea on the scale Colin and his friend are working. We are not sure how he is going to stock his shelter but the initial build is truly impressive!
In his notes, Colin states the bunker is getting covered in waterproof concrete with fibers mixed in. There is also rebar weaved all over this with RSJ beams spanning the roof. The concrete around the sides of the structure is twelve inches at its thinnest point and up to a full meter in other spaces.
With his rock music blaring and friendly help – not to mention a can-do attitude – Colin is well on his way to having the best bunker in his neighborhood!

Hes standing on the top rung. Is he prepared for a wheel chair?
at least its not another shipping container nonsense
Sounds awful looks cool tho imagine only seeing that small space for 30+ years
Right wtf?
What good is it to have a bunker when you advertise it. All his neighbors will want in in an emergency and if they get desperate they can destroy his bunker.
Fresh air, water and sanitation are the big ones. If the end is coming get a gun and dye like a man on your feet, that’s the way we do it in the USA.
Might want a solid place to sleep between firefights lol.
That’s defiantly not a bunker in my mind. That’s more like an underground bug out house. And its not far enough down to help protect from radiation.
safety on ladders with Colin Furze! safety on ladders with Colin Furze!!
Nick Perri
That’s bad$#%&!@*
would hate 2 get trapped in it.
Wait a minute here, did he just put sheets of steel down without doing any type of rust-prevention treatment on them at all?
Standing on the top of the ladder???
Awesome root cellar
If it’s going to be a DIP, that’s it, just do it.
