You should have at least 100 feet of paracord in your cordage stock for use in a survival situation, in addition to whatever stock you have in your survival kit or bug-out bag.

In an emergency, particularly if it is long-term, you will use paracord in dozens of ways – many you have not even thought about yet.

Paracord is one of those materials that you will use virtually everyday in a survival situation. Having the proper grade is imperative and you should keep plenty of it in stock.
