Hint. Spare the weight. Buy lots and lots of oatmeal & it can be flavored a million ways.
I really wonder who the rocket scientist is on most these pages? They are so called prepping for you as you’d be in the big city and prep in your existing home if that’s how your gonna prep and with stand an event & they are giving advice to make you believe you’ll survive in your home your an absolute fool to believe that you stay at home in the city your gonna die there.

It’s not a very effective strategy when she says to plan on 1 can of soup per person each day. That’s only a couple hundred calories, an average adult can’t live on that for 2 weeks especially if they are being active they need a minimum of 2-3000 a day it’s better than nothing but it won’t last that long

This sort of food is a prime target for looters & govt thieves with guns unless it is totally hidden. Even purchases paid for by cash could be traced & especially if paid for on plastic. Any ideas on how to hide the stash? False walls, in the rafters, stashed underground outside?

true it is a small amount but is sufficiant to keep you going till you can do better don’t forget its a major catastrophe so no more 3 course meals now it would be just enough to get you by forget the 2000 calorie a day intake that doesn’t exist when the SHTF
